CHAPCHAI NIRAT, ROUND ONE 66 (-5) – TANJONG COURSE
Q. Can you give us an assessment of your round today?
A. I shot a 66 which is always nice. My tee shots and putting were all very good and I couldn’t ask for a better round where everything worked for me.
Q. The Tanjong course is said to be the easier of the two courses? Your thoughts on Serpong tomorrow?
A. Serapong is a tough course. You’ve got to be really accurate with your tee shots and make sure they land on the fairway and stay out of trouble. I’ve got to be at the top of my game tomorrow and make sure I stay on top.
Q. How nice is it to know that you managed to finish your first round while others may need to come back early tomorrow to resume their rounds?
A. It’s good to finish my round today as it gives me a chance to rest and relax as I prepare for my second round tomorrow. I like to stay fresh and finishing my round today has given me the opportunity to do so.
