| FAQ on Bidding |
|
- What are the advantages of Bidding for my tee times?
When you bid for tee times, you're assured of golf rounds at great value. GolfGreedy.com is the first online company to introduce an open tee time bidding system. This novel system is meant to provide golfers an opportunity to play good golf at a price point that you’re comfortable with.
- What's the difference between the "Bid" and "Buy Now" options?
If you "Bid" for a tee time, you'll have to wait till the end of the bidding window (usually 2 days before tee off date) to see if you've been successful with your bid. If you choose to "Buy Now", you’ll pay the Buy Now price, and your purchase is confirmed once your payment gets through, ie. No waiting required if you "Buy Now".
- Is there a minimum bid price?
The minimum bid price (also called the Reserve Price) for each respective tee time and golf course is stated clearly in the "Current Bid" window. You will have to offer a bid that is higher than that price. Do note that the slot you are trying to bid/buy will be locked up (or reserved) for 20mins for you to complete your transaction.
- Is there a way for me to secure the tee time at the minimum bid price without having to wait till the bid closes?
Absolutely! If you can plan your game at least 7 days in advance, our pricing programme allows you to buy your slots at the lower Reserve Price immediately. These tee times are reflected in the No Bid Required zone. So buy early, pay less!
- Anything else I should know about Bidding for tee times on GolfGreedy.com?
Only 1 important thing: Although you are required to fill in your credit card details when you submit your bid, your card details are never retained by us, and NOTHING is charged to your card if you do not win the bid. Basically, you've found yourself a SAFE bidding environment and there's NO LOSS for trying!
